The difference between steel structure and steel bar

Steel bars and steel plate concrete are similar. Steel bars run through the entire structure, while steel plate concrete is a part of concrete. It is not the same as the two, but now most of the steel structures are referred to as reinforced concrete. The steel structure is similar to the reinforced concrete steel form, but the steel structure has better strength, while the concrete structure has poor strength.



1. The difference between steel structure and reinforced concrete Steel structure concrete and reinforced concrete used to be a form of container, which are composed of foam steel plate or steel bar and steel reinforcement. With the advancement of the material industry, flexible materials such as graphene are added to the polymeric materials to change the appearance and stress characteristics of steel-structured concrete. In real life, it is often used in hospitals and factories. The main stress-bearing components of each floor are mainly steel bars, like a hospital is a steel frame. Most of the small steel structure workshops are our civil universities and higher education. The steel structure is a house structure composed of composite materials connected by steel plates (or carbon alloy plates) as the basic material and connected by prestressed tubes and grid cloth. They are similar in composition, but steel plate concrete has higher mechanical strength and lower cost in steel structure. In industrial buildings, we are more likely to come into contact with the four structural forms of steel columns, steel beams, steel trusses and reinforced concrete. Steel is more widely used, like in home buildings, steel accounts for a large proportion of the structure.

2. The price difference between steel structure and reinforced concrete

①The construction method and construction period of the steel structure are similar to the construction method and construction period of the reinforced concrete, and the price is relatively cheaper;

②The steel structure concrete construction site has more management and stability requirements than the reinforced concrete construction site, and the increased cost is more reasonable;

③ There are a lot of mechanical equipment on the steel structure concrete construction site, which requires reasonable use and mechanized installation during construction, and construction management and stability increase the price. 

3. The difference between the quality of steel structure and reinforced concrete

①The quality of steel structure concrete is better;

② In terms of quality standards, steel structure concrete is now gradually much higher than the strength requirements of reinforced concrete;

③In terms of price, the price of reinforced concrete is high, and the quality requirements are high.

4. Different application fields of steel structure and reinforced concrete

①Steel structure is widely used in life and industrial manufacturing, and in terms of price. Compared with reinforced concrete, steel structures have more business opportunities;

②The application field of reinforced concrete in the living industry is generally not large, but it has been widely used in some underground spaces and highway construction;

③Steel structure is now developed as a teaching and scientific research project in many colleges and universities.
