Steel structure correction forming process

The steel structure we use has many processes during processing. Correction and forming are the most important. Let's understand it together.

1. Correction

1). The cold correction of the finished product is generally performed by mechanical forces such as flange levelers, straightening machines, hydraulic presses, and presses.

2). Flame correction, there are three heating methods: point heating, linear heating and triangular heating.

①The heat correction heating temperature of low carbon steel and ordinary low alloy steel is generally 600~900℃,

And 800~900℃ is the ideal temperature for thermoplastic deformation, but it is not allowed to exceed 900℃.

②Medium carbon steel will crack due to deformation, so medium carbon steel generally does not need flame correction.

③Ordinary low-alloy steel should be slowly cooled after heating and straightening.

2. Forming

1). Hot working: For low carbon steel, it is generally 1000~1100℃, and the termination temperature of hot working should not be lower than 700℃. The heating temperature is 500~550℃. The steel is brittle. Hammering and bending are strictly prohibited, otherwise the steel will be easily broken.

2). Cold processing: steel is processed and manufactured at room temperature, most of which are processed by mechanical equipment and special tools.

When we are processing the steel structure, we should also do a good job of correcting and forming, so that it can be used for a longer period of time.
